Morellino di Scansano Riserva 2018

The Reserva represents the origins of Fattoria Le Pupille. Originally called “Rosso di Pereta”, it is winery’s first wine to be produced which became, after the constitution of the Appellation’s disciplinary in 1978 – Morellino di Scansano.

First vintage produced: 1978
Profile: Vivid ruby red colour. The nose shows small red fruits, cherries, blackberries, followed by lavender, black tea and juniper. On the palate it marks a silky tannic texture supported by a pleasant acidity, which makes the wine with a long finish.
Food Pairing: Rossini-style fillet, braised beef with red fruits, ossobuco with peas.
